Communication and Media doctoral candidate, Yuhan Li, has won the Top Student Paper Award from the Risk Communication Specialty Group at the 2025 Society for Risk Analysis Annual Meeting. Her winning paper is titled "Using AI-generated images to communicate risks: Building public trust and acceptance of AI in journalism through strategic AI disclosure."
This impressive study was generously supported by our department’s Science and Environmental Communication Research Group and the Chair’s Graduate Student Research Grant.
