Dr. Devon Powers, Pris Rogers Professor of Strategic Communications and Professor of Communication and Media, published a new article titled "What is a trend?" in the December issue of the Journal of Communication.
The article aims to "advance the trend as a central concept through which communication and media studies researchers may think more comprehensively and critically about change." It serves to define "trend" and works to characterize the key features of the trend and connect the trend to communication and media research.
