Assistant Professor Hang Lu from the Department of Communication and Media has received a Top Faculty Paper Award from the Mass Communication and Society Division (MCS) of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC).
His award-winning paper, Correcting the Self with AI: The Effectiveness of Deepfake Self-Debunking in Reducing Misinformation, represents his latest research into the prosocial potential of deepfake technology.
