Thanks to the generous gift of Howard R. Marsh, our department is home to the Howard R. Marsh Visiting Professor of Journalism. Each year, the department hires a mid-career journalist or academic who studies journalism to fill this endowed chair. The Marsh Professor teaches two classes based on their expertise and gives a public lecture based on their research and experience in the journalism field.
The Marsh Lecture for Winter 2025 has been delayed for a year.
