Report An Incident

Need to report a non-emergency incident regarding health and/or safety while abroad on a CGIS program? Fill out the form below. Once completed, the CGIS Health & Safety Advisor (Rachel Reuter) will follow-up within 2 business days.

Report a Bias Incident

What is a bias incident? As defined by the U-M Campus Climate Support Team (CCS):

"A bias incident is conduct that discriminates, stereotypes, excludes, harasses or harms anyone in our community based on their identity (such as race, color, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, or religion).

Bias may stem from fear, misunderstanding, hatred or stereotypes. It may be intentional or unintentional."

If a student experiences a bias incident while studying on a CGIS program, they are recommended to report the issue so that CGIS can address the problem and provide assistance as needed.

Once completed, the CGIS Health & Safety Advisor (Rachel Reuter) will follow-up with them within 2 business days.
