Transfer Bridges to the University of Michigan is a program for students at Michigan community colleges who want to begin their studies at their local community college and then transfer to U-M Ann Arbor’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) to complete their bachelor’s degree.
The LSA Transfer Team will help you develop your academic plan, choose courses to maximize transfer credit, and set your professional goals.
LSA Transfer Ambassadors are excited to share their experiences and help you navigate the transfer process through goal setting, navigating the application process, and connecting to valuable University of Michigan resources.
Participate with a number of engaged learning programs and social experiences from the beginning of your studies including research, community-based learning, socially innovative programs, summer collaborations, internships, and more.
The Go Blue Guarantee offers free tuition for Michigan residents with incomes of $75,000 and below and assets below $75,000. Students who qualify for the Go Blue Guarantee are likely to receive additional financial aid to pay for housing, food, books, fees, and miscellaneous expenses.
The Transfer Bridges program is designed to help you prepare for applying to LSA. Participation does not guarantee your admission to the University of Michigan.
LSA encourages Michigan Reconnect participants to continue their educational journey at U-M where we are committed to keeping this world-class education affordable and accessible for all Michigan residents through generous financial aid offerings.
Sign up for Transfer Bridges and we will get you started on your transfer path, including connecting you with current LSA students who were Reconnect scholars before transferring to LSA.
