From preventative care, wellness coaching, and support during a crisis, the University offers a variety of resources to help students overcome challenges to achieve their goals.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers counseling services to students across campus in a variety of individual and group settings, including urgent support for students experiencing a crisis.
Need help? The Dean of Students Office (DOS) is a great place to start. DOS is a central place for students, parents, faculty, and staff to seek assistance in navigating the complex issues of campus life. Our team provides direct support to students or student groups experiencing situations impacting their Michigan experience, identifies available resources, and coordinates the appropriate response. Our goal is to promote a safe, respectful, healthy, and inclusive campus community for all students at the University of Michigan.
The Maize and Blue Cupboard provides access to free food, basic cookware and cooking supplies, and other personal & household items.
The Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center (SAPAC) offers prevention education for students, confidential support for survivors, and collaborates with other offices to offer trainings, programs, and innovative community engagement strategies to collectively create a campus free from violence.
University Health Services (UHS) provides medical services for enrolled students. Basic medical care is provided at no cost to the student.
Wolverine Wellness is guided by health promotion principles to support the health and wellness of our campus community through education, collaboration, and advocacy. They offer a variety of individual and group wellness support programs.
