The MPrint service is an enterprise printer service with many options for managing and printing to network printers. Highlights:
Note: It is up to each department for which of these services features are turned on or off. Please contact the LSA TS Service Desk for specific printer questions.
LSA TS has fully transitioned to the MPrint service. If you have questions about printing, please contact the LSA TS Service Desk, and a service representative will be glad to assist.
How to Print?
Several methods are available to use depending on if your computer is managed by LSA TS, is personal, or if your computer is printing to a networked or locally connected printer.
Locally Connected Printers
To connect to a printer using a local connection, i.e. USB, simply connect your computer to the printer and make sure it is turned on. Your computer should automatically configure your machine to use the printer. If you are prompted for admin credentials or encounter an error, please contact the LSA Technology Services Service Desk to ask for assistance.
Network Connected Printers
All LSA IT managed machines come pre-loaded to work with our MPrint service which include the PaperCut Client. Depending on your department, departmental shared printers are likely already installed on your machines. Available network printers can also be located and installed using the MPrint Website. See the "MPrint: Locate and Install a Printer" webpage for instructions.
