LSA Technology Services offers its monitoring solution via Zabbix, an enterprise-class open source software package for monitoring networks, services, and services or applications. The service is designed to meet the needs of IT professionals throughout the college and not often of interest to general faculty, staff, or students.
We monitor and track the status of various network services, servers, and other network hardware. Operations can be performed via its web interface, which requires Cosign authentication. It is used to monitor various Linux, Mac, and Windows servers and services supported by the LSA TS RCI Infrastructure team and the tier-2 support groups.

These services are available to IT professionals in LSA.
The Zabbix monitoring service should only be used to monitor college servers and services.

Contact LSA TS Infrastructure with the server and service details. LSA TS will work with you to install the client-side agents and to configure what to monitor, what to consider normal operational values or levels, what to consider warning versus critical for alerting purposes, when to send or suppress alert notifications, and so on.
