My research interests include historical, political, and cultural sociology with an eye towards micro-sociological processes. I aim to conduct research on populism and political mobilization in Latin America using ethnographic methods. I am interested in the relationship between performer and audience in populist discourse and, more particularly, in the reception of populist leaders’ performances.
