Taylor provides academic advising to undergraduate sociology majors & minors, coordinates curriculum, and manages GSI hiring. Prior to joining the Department of Sociology, she was an academic advisor for UM Psychology and Northwestern University's undergraduate business certificate. Her background is a mix of higher education, private consulting, the federal government, and customer service. She has a holistic advising philosophy, aiming to support students as they complete their degree on the timeline and way that best fits them. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys doing improv comedy and hanging out with her cat, Timmy.
