As the Sociology Chief Administrator, Elizabeth manages the non-instructional administrative and fiscal support operations for the department. She provides oversight for the budgeting and use of department financial and space resources, including donor stewardship; interprets department, college, and university policies for faculty & staff; and serves as the department's administrative liaison to the college and other university units. Prior to joining Sociology, she served as the Business & Finance Director of the Center for Health & Research Transformation (CHRT), which was formed as a joint venture between the University of Michigan and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Elizabeth was the first person hired by the founding executive director and served at CHRT for 15 years. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys music, travel, photography, Michigan football (Go Blue!), and has a Persian cat named Mr Darcy.
