Peer Coach (Student Leader Program)
About
The liberal arts curriculum is important to me because it fosters adaptability and a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives—skills essential for addressing complex societal challenges. My interdisciplinary studies in health disparities, biological science, and community engagement here at Michigan have shaped my passion for healthcare equity and the trajectory of my future. I plan to pursue a Master’s in Public Health and eventually an MD/PA degree, focusing on health equity and socially conscious medicine to combine my liberal arts background with practical, impactful solutions in the health of marginalized communities!
As a Hub Student Leader, I provide resumes and cover letter peer coaching, increase access to career resources through campus outreach, and help guide students to present their authentic selves in professional spaces. By helping students connect with the Hub’s resources and embracing their individuality, I aim to empower them to confidently pursue their career goals while maintaining authenticity in their professional journeys and exploring interdisciplinary paths.
