Gold'Ann (Goldie) Mesaros-Winckles

In this role, I support the mentorship program in coordinating events, facilitating connections between mentors and mentees, and providing resources to strengthen these relationships. My work fosters a supportive environment where students feel guided and encouraged in their personal and professional aspirations, while also offering opportunities to connect with alumni who can help guide them along the path they desire.

I believe in the liberal arts because they foster critical thinking, creativity, and understanding of diverse perspectives, which are essential for meaningful change. Through founding Roots & Wings and mentoring students with optiMize and the Center for Educational Outreach, I’ve built communities that promote belonging and growth. In the future, I plan to pursue a career in social work, using my psychology background and passion for social justice to help others heal and thrive.
