As a Hub Coach, I’m so excited to meet with students to help them work through their professional career paths. We take pride in coaching that centers our highest-need diverse students, puts students in control of how they want to get help, and empowers students through outreach throughout campus and individual appointments. I am most eager to meet with diverse students to talk through large puzzles they might be facing on campus and in workplaces.
Despite what’s whispered and shouted by our world’s culture, liberal arts students grow into amazing leaders and people. However, through the struggles I faced as a first-generation college student and first-generation American, I know thriving in classrooms and workplaces can feel like a luxury when simply surviving is already a feat on its own. From my work in Michigan K12 to UMich, I am committed to supporting students to make meaning through their college and career development.
