Alyssia serves as a Hub Coach at the LSA Opportunity Hub. Alyssia is excited to be a part of the LSA Opportunity Hub, as she understands the importance of having supportive staff in the lives of students. Alyssia is a First-Generation College Graduate and is keenly aware of how challenging it can be to identify a fulfilling career path. Alyssia also understands that the career options for LSA students are endless as LSA students gain skills that can be applied to various career settings. In Alyssia’s role, she is able to meet students where they are in their career journey and offer support as students explore and self-define their career passions and professional identities. Through individual coaching, group coaching, pop-up coaching, and workshops, Alyssia is also able to meet with students in various settings at their comfort level.
Before serving as a Hub Coach, Alyssia served as a School Social Worker in K-12 Schools and as a Clinical Therapist. Alyssia enjoyed building relationships with students, families, and community partners in these roles.
