About
As Managing Director, Amber's primary focus is to continue to empower the Hub Team to provide U-M's liberal arts and sciences students with transformative career programs that give students access to the tools they need to develop their career aspirations and the skills required to help them excel within the future workforce. Amber specializes in guiding individuals through career exploration and engagement initiatives, cultivating relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, and championing successful outcomes for underrepresented and underserved liberal arts and sciences students. She is dedicated to assisting students in discovering their professional identities by offering comprehensive career education opportunities that foster a holistic exploration process.
Amber is proud of the unique and valuable experience the Opportunity Hub provides for LSA students. The Hub, under her leadership, works with students to develop critical 21st-century skills, uncover their passions, and strengthen their professional development. As a licensed professional counselor certified in career counseling, Amber draws on her training, and personal experiences as liberal arts and sciences graduate from Oakland University to champion the success of undergraduate LSA students on the path to discovery.
Beyond her passion for equipping students for the future workforce, Amber enjoys reading, watching, and singing loudly to musicals, spending time with her family and traveling.
