Päv believes strongly that a liberal arts education prepares students to be engaged citizens and responsible change agents of a global community. Beyond specific academic knowledge, an education from our College of Literature, Sciences, and the Arts prepares students with the reasoning, communication, and cooperative skills necessary to take up the challenges of the current moment while seeking novel solutions for the challenges yet to come.
Päv is driven to activate the wide reach of LSA’s alum network, creating uniquely impactful opportunities for students to access the vast array of knowledge and experience our alums volunteer in support of their development. Students are best served when growth, agency, and purpose are centered in the pursuit of identity development, and Päv enlists fellow alum whose diverse lived experiences reflect both where our students are today and where they aspire to someday be.
