Hub Coach & Career Services Coordinator
About
As a Hub Coach, Mita is excited to work with students from all disciplines and backgrounds to articulate the value of their LSA degree, access new opportunities, and translate their interests and experiences into meaningful work beyond the classroom. She facilitates group workshops and offers 1:1 coaching sessions. Mita is dedicated to mentorship that is anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and sensitive to the various professional development challenges that undergraduates from historically marginalized groups may face.
With a background in medical and environmental humanities, Mita knows the value of a liberal arts education to even the most technical of fields. Going from an English major to studying agroecology to working in higher education, she also understands the non-linear (and sometimes scary!) path of building a nourishing career. She hopes that she can help students lean into curiosity and exploration while tapping into their strengths and accessing exciting opportunities.
