The Linguistic Society of America (LSA) will be presenting a webinar on Friday June 7, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. to provide guidance on submitting an abstract for the LSA 2020 annual meeting. Assistant professor Natasha Abner and Associate Professor Jelena Krivokapic will be among the panelists on hand to offer guidance on all aspects of preparing an abstract for a poster or a 20-minute paper presentation. First time submitting an abstract for the LSA Annual Meeting? Not sure how to format your abstract or how to submit it? This webinar will offer guidance from LSA staff and Program Committee members on all aspects of preparing an abstract for a poster or a 20-minute paper for the LSA Annual Meeting. David Robinson, the LSA's Director of Membership and Meetings, will offer a brief presentation on the technical issues associated with submitting your abstract. Next, a panel of Program Committee members will answer your F.A.Q. about submitting an abstract. Finally, there will be a Q&A session where panelists will respond to your live questions.
This webinar will be of interest to anyone who is submitting an abstract for the LSA Annual Meeting for the first time; who is looking for additional guidance on submitting an abstract; or who has questions about the abstract submission, review, and notification process.
