Professor Sally Thomason gave a plenary talk on Zoom at the 42nd International Conference of the Linguistic Society of India on December 10. The title of her talk was “Deliberate Language Change Can Disguise Genetic Relationships.”
The Linguistic Society of India has been in existence since 1929. The society organizes an annual conference that attracts a wide range of participation from India and abroad.
