Linguistics alum Mitchel Dipzinski (‘20) gave a presentation at the Lavender Languages and Linguistics conference on May 21. The presentation, "A Spoken-Word Poet's Gestural Guide to Creating a Queer World” is a research project that grew out of his Linguistics 497 seminar.
The Lavender Languages and Linguistics conference, dedicated to language and sexuality research, has run annually since 1993. The Human Sexuality PhD Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies hosted the 27th annual Lavender Languages conference virtually May 21-23, 2021.
