PhD candidate Joy Peltier gave a virtual colloquium talk for the University of Georgia’s Department of Linguistics on February 24 on Zoom. The title of her talk was “Language in Context and in Contact: The Pragmatics of Multifunctional Items in Kwéyòl Donmnik.”
