Jonathan Brennan Recommended for Promotion to Associate Professor of Linguistics
The Department of Linguistics is pleased to announce that the U-M College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) Executive Committee recently approved a recommendation for promotion for Jonathan Brennan to Associate Professor of Linguistics with tenure.
Jonathan Brennan joined the Linguistics Department in 2012. He studies the mental structures and computations used to understand words and sentences, and how these processes are implemented in the brain. Jonathan Brennan is also Assistant Professor of Psychology and is director of the Computational Neurolinguistics Lab at U-M.
The recommendation must now be approved by the U-M Provost and Board of Regents.
