Congratulations, Linguistics Class of 2019!
Graduating Linguistics seniors and family members joined department faculty and staff at the Michigan League on May 3 to celebrate the highlights and accomplishments of the Class of 2019.
Department Chair Robin Queen welcomed students and guests to the annual undergraduate reception. Associate professor Steve Abney, Director of Undergraduate Studies, introduced student speakers Kennedy Henderson and Anthony Struthers-Young, who offered reflections on their time at U-M. Professor Abney also recognized student Carly Marten, recipient of the 2019 Raoul Wallenberg Award and fellowship.
The reception concluded with individual recognition of the 2019 graduating seniors.
