Registration is now open for an October 16th webinar focused on being a linguist on social media. Graduate student Kelly Wright is one of several panel members giving the webinar. Sponsored by the Linguistic Society of America, the LSA webinar will provide a brief introduction to social media, with a particular focus on Linguist Twitter. Attendees will come away with an overview of some of the benefits and pitfalls of social media, as well as pointers for social media etiquette.
The webinar will take place on Friday, October 16 from 3:00 - 4:15 PM EDT.
