Robin Queen Elected to the LSA Executive Committee
Robin Queen has just been elected to a three year term as a member of the Executive Committee of the Linguistic Society of America. The Executive Committee oversees all the activities of the LSA, and as such helps to shape the future of the both society and the field of linguistics. Robin’s election to this important committee continues on her longstanding active involvement in the LSA. She co-directed (with Andries Coetzee) the 2013 Linguistic Institute, and has also served on various other committees of the LSA, including the Committee on Institutes and Fellowships and the Public Relations Committee. Robin’s election to the Executive Committee is a testament to the respect that the linguistics community have for her work and her commitment to the society. Congratulations, Robin!
