Kelsey Book Club

The Kelsey Book Club inspires conversation and community among individuals who share a passion for reading, mythology, and archaeology.

This monthly group is open to all adults with an interest in myths and the ancient world. Whether you are a Kelsey docent, a museum member, a U-M student or staff member, or a member of the community, we welcome you to join us for lively discussions and shared explorations!

2026–2027 Books

Explore the lasting impact of the ancient world on our modern imaginations. The Kelsey Book Club enters its third year with a new batch of myth retellings, a murder mystery with an archaeological bent, and a crawl through the corridors and colonial legacy of the British Museum.
