The Kelsey Museum is open to all audiences during our regular visiting hours. When arriving at the museum, please enter through the Maynard Street entrance. (Click here for information about parking.)

Planning Your Visit
Masks are not required in most indoor spaces per University of Michigan guidelines, including in the Kelsey Museum’s galleries, though any visitor who prefers to wear one is welcome to do so. Please postpone your visit if you are feeling unwell.
In the Museum
- Leave all large bags, backpacks, and umbrellas in the coatroom.
- The gift shop remains closed.
- You are welcome to explore our artifact drawers, but please do not touch cases, pedestals, or artifacts.
