About

Chloe is a first-year PhD student in the Joint Program in English and Education (JPEE).

Her eclectic research interests include: new media and pop culture for youth; representations of monstrosity in YA literature; kinship; posthumanism; and exploring how fan communities function as pedagogical spaces.

Through a variety of volunteering and professional experiences alongside her studies, Chloe advocates for the value of access & outreach work in education and embracing fan culture & digital literacies as meaningful routes to educational equality for marginalised young people.
