About
Anaridia R. Molina (She/her) is a PhD candidate in the Department of English Language and Literature and a Rackham Merit Fellow at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. As an interdisciplinary scholar and educator, she specializes in Caribbean and Latinx literature, digital humanities, and women’s studies. Her research has earned the 2026-2027 Rackham Humanities Research Fellowship-Dissertation Award.
Currently, Anaridia is working on a dissertation that examines how new digital modes are restructuring Caribbean and Latinx literature and conventions. She is also the Principal Investigator of the ACWWS’ Digital Archive, an ongoing project aimed at preserving the institutional history of the Association of Caribbean Women Writers and Scholars (ACWWS) and documenting the influence of the cross-cultural connections among writers and scholars of the Caribbean. In this role, she has led archival curation, digitization, metadata development, and digital preservation efforts by collaborating with the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC) to expand and preserve these materials within its digital repository. This project has received support from Digital Scholarship @U-M and the Caribbean Digital Scholarship Collective.
As an educator, she has taught first-year undergraduate writing courses on Caribbean and Latinx literature and Caribbean Digital Spaces at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In addition to her teaching experience, she has a background in writing center work and mentorship, the latter with the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program at U-M, the Digital Ethnic Futures Consortium, supporting the development of a new course at the intersection of Caribbean Literature and Digital Humanities, and The Humanities Edge, a Mellon-funded program that supports college students in the humanities transfer from Miami Dade College to Florida International University.
Anaridia earned her M.A. in English from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in English from Florida International University, where she was a Mellon-Hispanic Serving Institutions Pathways to the Professoriate Fellow.
She also serves on the executive council of the Association of Caribbean Women Writers and Scholars.
