Communication and Media Associate Professor Brian Weeks has published a new book, "Angry and Wrong: The Emotional Dynamics of Partisan Media and Political Misperceptions" (Cambridge University Press).

In the book, Weeks examines how partisan media use during the 2020 US presidential election contributed to growing political anger and false beliefs in America. Although partisan media audiences are small, Weeks shows that users of these sites online become angrier and more misinformed about politics during the election.
