Associate Professor Hollis Griffin was recently quoted in a USA Today article titled, "Queer YouTubers came out online and the world watched. It made a difference." The article was written in celebration of National Coming Out Day on October 10.

In the article, Griffin says, "There's a way that the creator sharing a personal story is something that was different than most other legacy media at that time." He then goes on to add, "It's very intimate, it's very off the cuff. There's a warmth to it."
