The Residential College manages a variety of classroom and meeting space reservations within East Quad. Access to these spaces and reservation privileges vary based on affiliation with the Residential College, East Quad, or the University of Michigan.
How Reservations Work
The RC Academic Services team manages the classroom reservation process for Residential College spaces within East Quad. Reservation requests are reviewed based on availability, eligibility, and existing academic and Residential College commitments. Because of this, requests for future terms will only be reviewed after academic and programming schedules are finalized.
Room Request Guidelines
- Submit requests 2-3 weeks in advance whenever possible.
- Requested rooms are not guaranteed and may be changed at the discretion of the Residential College.
- Reservations are not considered final until you receive a confirmation email from RC Academic Services.
Classroom and Building Access
- Classrooms are accessible to non-East Quad residents Monday-Friday, from 7:00 am - 9:00 pm.
- East Quad residents have swipe-card access to classrooms after hours and on weekends.
If your request includes non-residents and is meeting on a weekend or after hours, you may need assistance from East Quad Housing staff.
