Stay Connected

The RC doesn't end at graduation. Our alumni stay woven into the community, coming back to share where their RC education took them, to mentor current students, and to keep the conversations going. Here are the ways students and alumni stay connected throughout the year.

RC Career Connection Luncheons

These gatherings bring alumni back to talk with current students about their journeys: how they got from East Quad to where they are now, what surprised them, and what they'd tell their younger selves. Some alums join us on site, others connect remotely, so you can hear from people no matter where their paths have taken them.

Recent guests have included:

  • Megan Cummins
  • Rebecca Kosick (RC’04)
  • Allison Epstein (RC’14)

Robertson Memorial Lecture

The Robertson Memorial Lecture brings a notable voice to the RC each year to speak on their work and ideas. We often invite alumni back to take the stage, including:

  • Nandi Comer, Michigan Poet Laureate
  • Laura Kasischke, RC alumna and professor
  • Alisa Solomon, RC alumna, Columbia Journalism
  • Andrew Boyd, RC alum, author and activist

Visit the lecture series page to learn more.

Summer Pen Pals

Run by the RC Letters Forum, Summer Pen Pals invites current students and alumni to write to each other over the summer, trading stories, advice, and a little correspondence the old-fashioned way.

Even More Ways to Connect

The Robertson Lecture is just the start. Events in Keene, gallery openings, and other community happenings are generally open to alumni too, so there's always a reason to come back.
