Founded in 1965, the University of Michigan Developmental Psychology Training Grant is an NICHD funded T32 for predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees. Fellows conduct interdisciplinary, cutting edge research from a developmental framework and receive training with multiple faculty mentors that enable them to integrate skills in diverse areas (which may include social context, biology, and advanced methods). Moreover, fellows have access to ample resources, including large and diverse datasets, labs for data collection, instrumentation, and technical expertise (statistical and computational). Training grant faculty and trainees have a broad range of research interests across the life-span from infancy to late adulthood.
Click here for a list of current Developmental Training Grant faculty (table with links to faculty profiles), and see the directory page below for current trainees. More information about each person's research can be found on their respective profile pages.
For more information, please contact one of the current Developmental Training Grant co-directors, Dr. Christopher Monk (csmonk@umich.edu) or Dr. Susan Gelman (gelman@umich.edu).
