The University of Michigan has a long and rich history in teaching and engaging in Polish studies; this activity is coordinated by the Copernicus Center for Polish Studies, which is administered by CREES.
Initiatives of the Copernicus Center include funding student research and internships, bringing scholars and practitioners to U-M to give public lectures on Polish studies topics, enriching curricular offerings at U-M that focus on Poland, and making broader connections between Poland and the University of Michigan community.
