In August, anthropology graduate student Martin Menz hosted a public outreach event at the Letchworth-Love Mounds Archaeological State Park near Tallahassee, FL--the site of his dissertation research. The event drew more than 100 people, who came to learn more about the inhabitants of the site, including what their houses looked like and how they built the tallest earthen platform in the state around 1,500 years ago.
