UMMAA Press

The University of Michigan Museum of Anthropological Archaeology (UMMAA) has been publishing scholarly monographs—featuring excellent scholarship, meticulous research, and leading-edge, vibrant interpretation—since 1932. Today, we continue this tradition by publishing data-rich archaeological and ethnographic publications on North American, Latin American, Near Eastern, European, African, and Asian archaeology and ethnology. Our comprehensive, heavily illustrated books include numerous tables, charts, drawings, and photographs. They are priceless records of archaeological data and anthropological research.
