On November 1, 2025, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) will hold a gala opening of the new $1 billion facility, including tours of the galleries. The event will be livestreamed from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the University of Michigan central campus, Angell Hall, Auditorium C.
