Next week, March 19, is the University of Michigan's Giving Blueday--a chance for friends of UMMAA to support the Museum.
This year, your gift will go to the Museum's Strategic Fund, which helps support all aspects of UMMAA’s work, including archaeological research, student training, and public education about humanity's past. Every gift helps our curators, students, and staff conduct fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and collections research.
Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Joyce Marcus, UMMAA curator of Latin American archaeology and professor of anthropology, and Dr. Thomas K. Black III, alum of UMMAA, all donations up to $7,000 will automatically double.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Marcus and Dr. Black for their matches, and to you for your gift. Read more here.
