In a short video on Sapiens.org, produced by Aaron Martin, U-M archaeology graduate student Brendan Nash talks about working at the Belson site, an archaeological site in southwest Michigan dating to about 13,000 years ago.

The video shows Nash and the team he works with, both professional and avocational archaeologists, excavating the site and working in the lab with the artifacts. Most of the lithics, by far, are tiny flakes--debris from resharpening stone tools.
