Satisfy Requirements at UMBS

With some strategic planning, you can satisfy multiple department or college requirements using UMBS classes. As with all academic planning, students should check with their department and/or college advisors to confirm the accuracy of this information.

Program in the Environment (PitE) Practical Experience Requirement:

Any Biological Station course of 3 credits or more. It may be possible for a 2-credit class to satisfy the practical experience requirement, but pre-approval from PitE is usually required. Exceptions include Florilegium and Pharmaceutical Discovery, which are approved for Practical Experience provided the student also takes Ann Arbor campus class to which they are connected.
