In lieu of a non-refundable deposit, UMBS has a cancellation fee of $150. This cancellation fee will be assessed from the point of the contract signing to 3 weeks prior to the program start date.

Any change to the size and scope of the event or any event cancellation must be communicated at least 3 weeks prior to the scheduled start date. In the event of a cancellation less than 3 weeks prior to the program start date, the cancellation fee is 10% of the total bill and your organization is liable for any nonrecoverable costs incurred by the University in preparation for your event (ex. food charges). All groups who reduce the size of their groups less than 3 weeks prior will be billed for the original number of participants as on the agreed contract.

Note that changes in the event dates within this cancellation deadline may not be accommodatable and may result in a cancellation fee.
