Life is informal at the Biological Station. Bring clothes that are comfortable for fieldwork and to wear around camp. Sturdy shoes and clothes you can layer are important. The climate in northern Michigan is ever-changing, so prepare for cold nights (especially during the spring) and hot days. Keep in mind that most fieldwork will continue during wet and rainy days.
Bedding and linens are not provided, so please bring adequate bedding. Review the Packing List while preparing for your stay.
