Observation and Modeling of Climate Change Biology - EEB 405

Course Description:

This course focuses on the science behind climate change, and specifically on physical and biological processes at the Earth-surface, and the effects of climate change to ecosystems. This course is unique in that students will have the opportunity to practice measurement techniques of surface fluxes, radiation and ecosystem interaction with climate change in northern Michigan. Students will also experience hands-on techniques for analyzing climate and weather datasets and modeling climate impacts.
