Climate Change in Northern Michigan Subject of June 25 Nadelhoffer Talk
University of Michigan Biological Station Director Knute Nadelhoffer will discuss the impacts of climate change on Northern Michigan and the Great Lakes region during a special presentation at noon, Wednesday, June 25, at the Petoskey-Bay View Country Club.
The talk is a “Lunch and Learn" presentation sponsored by the University of Michigan Alumni Spirit Group of Little Traverse Bay. Nadelhoffer will discuss changes occurring in the region due to human-caused climate change and our options for adapting to present and future climate disruptions.
The presentation is open to the public. Cost is $20 per person and includes lunch. Proceeds benefit scholarships for incoming University of Michigan students.
