East Hall Computer Labs

Appropriate use of the Mathematics computing labs

The Mathematics computer labs are provided primarily for students registered in courses that require the use of mathematical software. Priority of use is given to students doing work assigned for courses. During busy times, you may be asked to relinquish your station if you are working on something that is not clearly related to a mathematics course.

Printing

The Mathematics department computer labs use the UM Sites printing system. Each image – printed side of a sheet of paper – is charged to your UM printing allocation at the current rate. If you want to know how many pages you have printed, you can see that information at the Balances and Subscriptions web page.

General information about Sites printing, including the current rates, can be found at the Printing in Sites web page.
