My research mainly consists of using techniques from non-Archimedean geometry, especially Berkovich spaces, to study degenerations in complex geometry and dynamics. Some specific problems that I consider are 1) constructing canonical metrics in complex geometry, 2) conjectures in mirror symmetry relating real and complex geometry, and 3) the boundary of parameter spaces of certain complex dynamical systems.
