Super Saturdays
Saturday mornings on Zoom; begins Oct 9. Stephen and Sarah are running an online program for students in grades 7-10 from Ypsilanti and Detroit; many of our students were Math Corps campers with us in Summer 2021!
Thursday evenings on Zoom. This program is for middle school and high school students. The students who attend often love math. Stephen is looking for people to run interactive math sessions for the math circle students on Thursday evenings, 6:30-8pm. The schedule is here.
Wayne County Math Teachers' Circle WCMTC
At its heart, a Math Teachers' Circle (MTC) is a community of like-minded mathematics teachers and mathematicians who meet regularly to exercise their mathematical problem solving skills. Teacher participants explore, question, conjecture, collaborate, and discover mathematical connections in small and large groups. Professional researchers in math and science together with experienced teacher educators will lead the sessions.

FEMMES is a fantastic student-run group at U(M) F.E.M.M.E.S. is dedicated to closing gender and racial divides in computer science and science, technology, engineering and math (CS/STEM) fields. Working specifically in diverse, underserved communities, F.E.M.M.E.S. creates collaborative teaching and learning environments to promote leadership development, technical skills and self-confidence of women* of all ages.
